THIRD CHURCH

This underused church parking lot was redesigned to capture rainwater, improve traffic flow and engage members and guests with an attractive entrance. Strategies incorporated conventional pavements, permeable pavers and a large rain garden with customized stone forebays.

Despite this site's challenges with a high water table and poor draining subsoils, methods were incorporated for proper filter profiles and drawdown within 48 hours
