URBAN LAND SCAPE

This homeowner wanted to have an ecologically-minded quiet oasis within a busy urban location.  From the backdoor, a permeable paver walkway connects to the driveway winding through an overlapping garden of primarily native plantings. A creative waterway to move stormwater adds a special touch as it meanders through the patio. Two raised vegetable beds, plum trees and a raspberry patch helps to support and promote urban permaculture, their love of gardening and eating home-grown produce.

This landscape not only invites the homeowners to this embracing backyard but also supports hundreds of pollinators, birds, and an occasional alley cat.
